Compass Ministries is a non-profit, 501(c)3 founded by Cindy Duff in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2011. The mission of Compass Ministries is to make Tampa Bay a welcoming community for missionary families and to provide them with support while in the U.S. and overseas. Compass Ministries includes a Board of Directors, paid staff, and a team of volunteers. The services of Compass Ministries include but are not limited to: pastoral and mental health counseling, debriefings, play therapy, filial therapy training, marriage therapy, residential mentoring programs, retreats, camps, bible studies, and recovery groups. Compass Ministries is led by a board of directors who govern and provide oversight to the activities of Compass Ministries.

We are always looking for experienced or novice volunteers, whether you are a retired or active missionary, counselor, coach, or layman looking to get involved in the member care field caring for missionary families, we have a place for you in our team. If you are passionate in caring for missionary families and would like to exercise your gifts, check out our volunteer positions available below. We provide orientation, training and supervision, as well as continuous in-house education.
