Hello, my name is Diane David. I am currently an intern student working toward my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges. I also have experience supporting teenagers in foster care and working closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Before beginning my counseling internship, I served as a house coordinator for foster care youth, where I learned the importance of creating structure, safety, and support for young people navigating difficult transitions. I also worked as a program director for individuals with intellectual disabilities, developing programs that encouraged independence, inclusion, and personal growth. My Christian faith has been a grounding influence throughout my life, as I grew up in the church and built a personal relationship with God that continues to guide my values and the way I connect with others.
